Louise Wasylkiw is a professor of Psychology at Mount Allison University in Sackville, NB. She received her BA in Psychology from Nipissing University (Ontario), followed by an MA and PhD in Social/Personality Psychology from Queen's University at Kingston, Ontario. Prior to pursuing studies in psychology, she was a registered nurse specializing in neonatal care. Her current research interests fall in three related areas: body image and perceptions of the physical self; transition and adjustment to university; and individual differences. She is an award winning teacher with continued interest in the scholarship of teaching and learning.
